Winter McQuinn’s third record “Where Are We Now?” is a collaborative effort led by McQuinn, featuring co-writing and recording sessions with artists; Dylan Young (Way Dynamic), GFS, Hot Apple Band, Feign Jima, Shelby De Fazio (Bad Bangs), Acacia Coates and Rudy Polacheck. Mixed by Dylan Young (Way Dynamic, Cool Sounds, Good Morning) and Snowy (Good Morning, Snowy Band), the sonic aesthetic encompasses soft rock, folk, and pop similar to Carol King, Kate Bollinger with contemporary undertones similar to Tex Crick and Alex Izenberg. The record continues McQuinn’s introspective lyricism, with songs exploring aging, anxiety, environmental collapse, and love.
